The Skillsmart Retail Conference 2010 is taking place at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Wednesday, 8th September 2010 between 1.30 and 5pm. This event precedes the Skillsmart Retail Rising Stars Awards which take place later in the evening at the same venue.
The conference, titled ‘Increasing competitive advantage through people’, will feature the major retailers discussing the strategies employed to tackle current and future challenges and maximise the opportunities for developing the skills of their people, enabling their business to prosper.
We are delighted to welcome a great line-up of high profile speakers from the retail industry for whom skills development has made a positive impact on their business. They will highlight the importance of skills and demonstrate how developing the workforce drives greater competitive advantage and impacts positively on the bottom line.

The Oscars, the BAFTAs, the Grammys; we all love a great awards ceremony that recognises the outstanding talents of an industry - and retail is no different. Held annually, these awards are in every retail professional’s calendar and bring together hundreds of the industry's biggest names to honour those who have performed outstandingly over the last year.
